Lotta's new dress trial

Kokeilin pikkuiselle Lotalle tänään uudenlaista huopamekkomallia joka toimikin ihan hyvin. Hieman sotkuinen tulos tuli kun en käyttänyt reunojen ompeluun tarpeeksi paksua lankaa joka olisi näkynyt paremmin. Mutta ensi kerralla sitten tiedän mitä käyttää :)

I tried a new pattern for a felt dress that I made for Lotta. It was a really good pattern. I just need to use a thicker thread when sewing the edges so it won't look this messy. It should show better. But better next time :)

Christmas swap presents

Nyt voin laittaa tänne nukkeblogille kuvaa jouluisan vaihdon lahjastani, siis siitä jonka minä tein parilleni :) Muistin kuvata myös pakettiin lisäämäni hiiri-hatun. Lisäksi paketissa oli vielä pieni muistikirja nukelle.

Now I can post picture of the things I made for the Christmas Swap fro my partner. I also remembered to take a photo of a mouse-hat I made. I added to the present a small journal but I don't have a picture of it :)

Christmas presents

Joululahjaksi tänä vuonna tulikin "vain" kaksi nukkea, eikä kumpikaan niistä ollut hartsinen. Monster Highn Rochelle Goyle (aivan ehdoton lemppari vaaleanpunaisen tukkansa vuoksi) ja ihan yllärinä tullut Disneyn Belle nukke. Kyseessä on siis ihan marketista saatava versio ei Disney Storen. Kaikenmoista muuta kivaa sain kyllä Disney Storesta, mutten yhtään nukkea (jostain kumman syystä sisarukset ja vanhemmat eivät suostu ostamaan nukkeja aikuiselle...).

This year I only got two dolls for Christmas and neither of them were made of resin. Monster High Rochelle Goyle and Disneys Belle, she is Mattel product not from Disney Store. I did get all kinds of nice things from Disney Store but no dolls (for some reason my parents and siblings don't want to buy dolls for adults...).

Change in attitude Angerva?

Angervan pääkky on ollut tässä jo myynnissäkin jonkin aikaa kun ei vain jotenkin tuntunut sopivan mihinkään tyyliin jota sille yritin. Mutta, nyt tuntui löytyvän neitokaisen oma tyyli.

Tässäpä teille Wiljaa. Omasta mielestäni kaikkein kaunein nukestani (vaan ei tyttömäisin). Ihmettelen aina, miten tätä moldia ei ole pahemmin huomattu ja se onkin aika harvinainen ihan vain siksi, ettei se ole suosittu. Mutta oikealla meikillä tästä saa aikaiseksi kyllä vaikka mitä :)
Rakastan näitä Dollzonen nuppusuita ja taas alkaa sitä nukkehammasta kolottaa..  Josko joku uusi Dollzonelainen tänne pitäisi hankkia. Vaiko kenties kuitenkin minifee? Sitä olen jo pitkään haaveillut :D Mutta nyt jokatapauksessa, Wilja ja hänen uudet housunsa :)

Here is Wilja for you guys! I think she is the most beautiful of all of my dolls (though not the girliest). I'm always wondering why this particular mold is so under appreciated by doll collectors, not many of us have her. With the right kind of face-up this girl can be anything :)
I love these Dollzone darling with theire pouty lips and can't wait to get my next doll. Maybe a new Dollzone girl? Or maybe a minifee that I have been wanting for a shile now. But now let's give the stage to Wilja and her new pants ;)

Holiday wishes!

Lotta and Hello Kitty

Pari näpsyä Lotasta joka sai uuden Hello Kitty pehmolelun :) Tyttö tarvitsee ehdottomasti uuden peruukin, en vain ole vielä varma haluanko sille vaaleanpunaisen, vaaleansinisen vaiko ihan vain ruskean mohair-peruukin... Jää siis nähtäväksi :)

Just couple random pictures of Lotta and her new Hello Kitty plush :) She needs a new wig but I can't decide between pink, light blue or brown mohair wig... So that remains to be seen :P

Ihan pakko laittaa kuvaa koko  minun nukkekatraasta. Tästä puuttuu kaksi Disney Animators Collection nukkea, mutta ne eivät mahdu tuohon hyllylle vaan majailevat muualla. Muutoin tässä on kaikki Moxiet, Monster High nuket, BJD:t, Pullip, Lalaloopsy, Merida ja joitain pehmoleluja ihan vain, jottei nukeille tule tylsää :D

I just had to put here a picture of all my dollies. The only ones missing are my Disney Animators Colletion girls, they are too big to fit my shelf. So here they are, all my Moxies, Monster High, BJDs, Pullip, Lalaloopsy, Merida and some stuffed toys :)

My first Pullip

Ensimmäinen Pullip nukkeni saapui tänään. Aivan ihana ja kaunis nukke toki on, mutta! Vähän ihmettelen, mihin se raha näissä nukeissä menee. Nukke itsessään on siis ihan vain normaalia muovia eikä etenkään kroppa ole tosiaankaan mikään kovin korkealaatuinen. Vaatteet ovat ihan kauniit, mutteivät nekään mitkään erityisen laadukkaat ole. Kengät ovat ihan vain muovia... Eli ilmeisesti Pullipin hinta on aika isolta osin tosiaan ihan vain sitä, että kyseessä on Pullip. Ja mikäs siinä, jos ihmiset ovat valmiita maksamaan. Keräilynukke tosiaan kyseessä joten kropankaan ei tarvitse olla mikään huippu laadukas koska nukkea ei ole tarkoitettu lasten leikkeihin (jossa se aika nopeasti menisi varmasti myös rikki). Toinen ihmetyksen aihe oli nuken pienuus. Tiesin, että kyseessä on hieman Barbieta isompi nukke suurella päällä, mutta kun sain se käteen huomasin miten pikkuinen tirriäinen kyseessä onkaan. Tämä ei siis ole mikään huono/hyvä juttu vaan ihan vain oma huomio :D

Sekin oli positiivista, että kuvissa en tykännyt kyseisen nuken silmistä ollenkaan, mutta livenä ne ovatkin aivan ihanat ja sopivat tytölle erinomaisesti. Ei siis ole tarkoituksenani lähteä niitä muuttelemaan. Yksi mikä myös mietityttää on se, että monet (etenkin nuoret) Pullipistit kertovat pitävänsä Pullipeistä koska ne ovat cusmotoitavissa ja tarkoitettu customoitaviksi. En kyllä näe näissä nukeissa mitään customoitavaksi tarkoitettua muuta kuin tuo silmien väri, joskin senkin vaihtaminen on aika lailla työn takana. Eli tuskin Pullipit on customoitaviksi tarkoitettu, mutta monet ovat niitä alkaneet customoimaan ja siitä on tullut iso osa harrastusta. Ja mikäs siinä, mukavaahan se varmasti on mutta itse aion Pullipini pitää ihan sellaisina kuin miksikä ne on tarkoitettu, peruukin vaihtoa lukuunottamatta. Eli kaiken kaikkiaan ihan viehättävä ja kaunis nukke mutta en ole varma olisinko valmis laittamaan tällaista rahasummaa toiseen samanlaiseen... Saa nähdä ;) Never say never :D

So my first Pullip came today and she is so cute and beautiful! But I must admit I am a bit puzzled that where does the money go? The doll itself is made of ordinary plastic and it's not even in good quality. The clothes are pretty but not that well made, even the shoes are just plastic. So basically the prize is just in the name itself. It's a Pullip and people are ready to pay so the prize is according to that. Which is fine if people are reade to pay for it. Since Pullip is a doll ment for decoration and collectors it doesn't need to be made to endure rough handling (a child would brake it easily). Another funny thing is, how small the doll is :D I knew Pullips are just a bit bigger then Barbies but still it was a suprise, not a bad one, just a suprise :D

Also a positive thing is that from the pictures this dolls eyes were not that pretty but when I gor her out of the box I thought they were stunning! They fit perfectly on her. One thing that also makes me think is the fact that many (especially young) Pullip collectors like them since they are meant to be customised. I have to say that I can't see anything else that was meant to be customised then the wig and maybe the eyes. And even changing the eye color means that you have to open the skull and "brake" it to get to the eyes. So I don't think Pullips were meant to be customised but many have started making their own "style" on their dolls and it has become a big part of the hobby. And why not if it pleases people. I am still going to keep my Pullip just the way it is, except maybe change the wig if I feel like it. So all in all cute doll but I'm not sure if I'm willing to pay this amount of money for another one... We'll see, never say never ;)

More Disney stuff!

Eilen saapui Disney Storen paketti. Laitan tänne kuvia näistä ihanuuksista vaikkeivät ne nukkeja varsinaisesti olekaan. Mutta siis joulukuusikoristeet Ariel, Mulan ja Lumikki. Mulan ja Lumikki menevät joululahjoiksi kälylleni ja siskolleni. Ariel on ihan vain minun omani :D Olen aika pettynyt näihin koristeisiin, niiden hinta oli 16€ kpl paitsi Ariel (jonka mukana piti tulla nimikoitu plakaatti, mutta mihinkään ei mitään nimikointi tekstiä voinut lisätä tai laittaa joten tyttö tuli ihan vain blankona) joka maksoi 20€. Laatu ei ole kovin kummoinen. Lumikin hiukset etenkin ovat melkein naurettavan huonosti maalatut verrattuna tuohon hintaan. Luulisi, että tällaisilla hinnoilla laatukin olisi sen mukaista. Mutta kait se on niin, että kun on Disneyn nimellä myytyä tavataa niin hinnan voi ottaa vaikkei laatu olekaan kovin kummoinen. Hieman on pettynyt olo.

Yesterday my Disney Store stuff arrived. They are not exactly dolls but I'm still putting up some pictures. So these are supposed to be christmastree decorations Ariel, Mulan and Snow White. Mulan and Snow White are going to my sister-in-law and sister and Ariel is mine :D I am somewhat disappointed of these ladies. They cost quite a lot (10£ each, except Ariel that was 12£) but the quality is quite bad... Snow Whites hair looks really bad, like part of it was missed by the painter. The other girls aren't that good either, but poor Snow just looks sad. I would think that with prizes like these the quality would be at least a little better. But I guess that as long as you use tha name Disney you can ask for a lot of money even when the quality isn't that good. But I do feel a bit disappointed.

My first Pullip!

Tänään juuri tilasin ensimmäisen Pullip nukkeni Pullipstylestä! Minulla oli monia suunitelmia ja viimeisin aikomus oli tilata Pullip Alice Du Jardin. Mutta samalla kun odottelin rahojen siirtymistä Pay-paliin olikin neitokainen jo myyty! Piti sitten valita toinen vaihtoehto ja valitsin Pullip Angelic Pretty Sfoglian. Aivan ihana vaaleanpunainen unelma :D Samalla katselin, että olisi aika ihanaa saada myös samaa "sarjaa" olevat Dal ja Byul. Aluksi en noista Daleista ja Byuleista tykännyt yhtään ja ihmettelin, että kuka voisi niin rumia nukkeja itselleen haluta. Mutta ne kuitenki jotenkin vetivät puoleensa ja mitä enemmän niitä katselen sen suloisempia ne ovat! Nyt ihmettelen, miten koskaan saatoin niitä rumina edes pitää! Mutta joka tapauksessa, en malta odottaa tyttöä saapuvaksi!!

Today I ordered my first Pullip from Pullipstyle! I had so many plans but finally decided on ALice Du Jardin. Unfortunately while waiting for the money to transfer to Pay-pal she went out of stock. Luckily I found another adorable girl Pullip Angelic Pretty Sfoglia, beautiful pink dream. I also kinda fell for the Dal and Byul from the same "series". I didn't originally like the Dal and Byul at all, I actually thought they were some what ugly. But for some reason they still were very interesting and now, as I have been looking at them more and more I kinda fell in love :D And I can't imagine how I ever thought they were ugly! Anyway, can't wait to get her!

Fanni osallistui Ball Jointed Europe sivuilla kuvakilpailuun. Voittoa ei hellinnyt mutta kuva on ehkä paras koskaan ottamani kuva :)

Toinen lempikuvistani on ehdottomasti Jokin Usva-Solinan kuvista. Tykkään neidin tyylistä niin paljon, että melkein mikä tahansa kuvakin on aivan ihastuttava :D Mutta tässä ehkä tämän hetkinen lempparini

Lopuksi yksi lempparikuvistani ihan vain siksi, että siinä on kaikki tämän hetkiset nukkeni (Emmaa lukuunottamatta!). Ei siis mikään kuvauksellisuuden helmi, mutta suloinen yhteiskuva kuitenkin.
