My Disney girls

Huh tässä onkin mennyt aikaa siitä kun viimeksi olen mitään postaillut... Elämä on niin vienyt mukanaan ja hartsinuketkin ovat vähän jääneet jo taaksepäin. Enää kaksi hartsinuksua istuu hyllylläni ja mietin jo niidenkin myymistä. Aikansa kutakin näköjään :) Mutta tässä vähän kuvia ihanista Disney Animators Collection nukeistani <3

Well it's been a while since I posted last. Life has been getting in my way and I've lost most of my interest in BJD's byt now. I only have two dollies and I'm already considering about selling them as well... But anyways, my dollie collecting will never end so here are some pictures of my lovely Disney Animators Collection dolls <3

Disney Animator's Collection Ariel's outfit

Uuden vuoden kunniaksi piti tehdä Arielille (lemppari nukelleni) myös asusetti johon kuuluu hame ja paita/liivi härpäke.

For the new year I decided to make something also for Ariel (my favourite doll). It inculdes a skirt and a top/vest of somesort :P

Tein tänään Tähkäpäälle pienen asusetin, mekon, paidan ja sukat :) Näyttää kelpaavan :P

Today I made an outfit to Rapunzel, dress, shirt and socks. I think she likes it :P

Disney's Animator's Collection dolls

Ostin tuossa pari viikkoa sitten Animators Collection sarjan Lumikin ja Meridan. Tässäpä siis kuvia neitokaisista.

 Sitten tilasin nukeille uudet mekkoset tilaustyönä toiselta nukkeharrastajalta. Lumikin ja Tähkäpään villatakit ovat myös harrastajan käsialaa. Nämä tytöt on kyllä niin uskomattoman ihania. Ja huomasin, että hartsinukkejen MSD kokoiset kengät menee heille myös :P


I also ordered some dresses for my dolls from another collector. The wooly jackets are also made by another collector. I'm so in love with there girls. I also  noticed that MSD shoes made for BJD's are good size for these princesses as well :P

Tyttöjen nimeksi tuli/ I named my girls: Merri (Merida), Lumi (Lumikki/ Snow White), Aari (Ariel) ja Tähkä (Tähkäpää/ Rapunzel).

Lisää nukkeja taas tulossa kun edellisiä on saanut myytyä :) Tällä kertaa tosin vuorossa kaksi uutta Disneyn Animators Collection nukkea, Lumikki ja Merida. Itseasiassa Merida on Toddler mallistoa, mutta siitäkin on tehty AC versio jota ei vielä tosin ole UK:n Disney storessa myynnissä. Muutoin sama nukke, mutta mekko on hieman erilainen. Ja odotushan on ihan yhtä tuskaisaa kuin kalliimpienkin nukkejen kanssa :D

More dolls coming my way after I was able to sell couple old ones :D But this time it's Animators Collection dolls Snow White and Merida. Well actually Merida is Toddler line, but she looks exactly the same as the new AC version, only the dress is different.  And again I can assure you that the wait is the same even when it's because of a "cheaper" doll :P

Christmas presents

Joululahjaksi tänä vuonna tulikin "vain" kaksi nukkea, eikä kumpikaan niistä ollut hartsinen. Monster Highn Rochelle Goyle (aivan ehdoton lemppari vaaleanpunaisen tukkansa vuoksi) ja ihan yllärinä tullut Disneyn Belle nukke. Kyseessä on siis ihan marketista saatava versio ei Disney Storen. Kaikenmoista muuta kivaa sain kyllä Disney Storesta, mutten yhtään nukkea (jostain kumman syystä sisarukset ja vanhemmat eivät suostu ostamaan nukkeja aikuiselle...).

This year I only got two dolls for Christmas and neither of them were made of resin. Monster High Rochelle Goyle and Disneys Belle, she is Mattel product not from Disney Store. I did get all kinds of nice things from Disney Store but no dolls (for some reason my parents and siblings don't want to buy dolls for adults...).

More Disney stuff!

Eilen saapui Disney Storen paketti. Laitan tänne kuvia näistä ihanuuksista vaikkeivät ne nukkeja varsinaisesti olekaan. Mutta siis joulukuusikoristeet Ariel, Mulan ja Lumikki. Mulan ja Lumikki menevät joululahjoiksi kälylleni ja siskolleni. Ariel on ihan vain minun omani :D Olen aika pettynyt näihin koristeisiin, niiden hinta oli 16€ kpl paitsi Ariel (jonka mukana piti tulla nimikoitu plakaatti, mutta mihinkään ei mitään nimikointi tekstiä voinut lisätä tai laittaa joten tyttö tuli ihan vain blankona) joka maksoi 20€. Laatu ei ole kovin kummoinen. Lumikin hiukset etenkin ovat melkein naurettavan huonosti maalatut verrattuna tuohon hintaan. Luulisi, että tällaisilla hinnoilla laatukin olisi sen mukaista. Mutta kait se on niin, että kun on Disneyn nimellä myytyä tavataa niin hinnan voi ottaa vaikkei laatu olekaan kovin kummoinen. Hieman on pettynyt olo.

Yesterday my Disney Store stuff arrived. They are not exactly dolls but I'm still putting up some pictures. So these are supposed to be christmastree decorations Ariel, Mulan and Snow White. Mulan and Snow White are going to my sister-in-law and sister and Ariel is mine :D I am somewhat disappointed of these ladies. They cost quite a lot (10£ each, except Ariel that was 12£) but the quality is quite bad... Snow Whites hair looks really bad, like part of it was missed by the painter. The other girls aren't that good either, but poor Snow just looks sad. I would think that with prizes like these the quality would be at least a little better. But I guess that as long as you use tha name Disney you can ask for a lot of money even when the quality isn't that good. But I do feel a bit disappointed.

Animator's Collection Ariel & Rapunzel

Piti sitten leikkiä vähän noilla Animator's Collection nukeilla ja laittaa niiden hiukset :D Nämä nukethan tilasin ihan sitä varten, että niiden kanssa voi touhuta, en sitä varten, että seisovat vain hyllyssä. Nuo Rapunzelin ihanat hiukset kyllä oikein kutsuvat sörkkimään, harjaamaan ja letittämään. Tovoin vain, ettei tuloksena ole piakkoin hirmuinen suttupesäke, niinkuin nukkejen hiuksille usein käy. Arielille täytyy kyllä tehdä piakkoin joku mekko, ettei tarvitse napa paljaana kulkea koko talvea.

I just had to play with my Animator's Collextion dollies and do their hair :D I got these dolls so I can do stuff with them, not so they can just look nice on the shelf :) And Rapunzel's hair just invites you to braid and brush it, you can't stay away :D Lets see how long it takes, before the hair is all ruined and is just a big hairy mess... That often happens to dolls even if their hair is ment to be brushed and played with. I really need to make a dress for Ariel so she doesn't have to go trough winter with her belly button showing :D

Disney Store dollies have arrived!

Ja ilouutinen aamulla olikin, että tänään saapui sitten Disney Storesta tilatut nuket, eli Animators Collectionin Ariel ja Tähkäpää, sekä Talking Doll Merida 17" (n.40cm). Merida onkin aivan ihana, saman kokoinen kuin MSD nukkeni. Ulkoisesti ei kyllä ihan samaan porukkaan näytä kuuluvan. Pikkutyttöjen hiukset ovat aivan mielettömän pehmoiset ja ihanat, tekisi mieli loputtomasti vain harjata ja paijata niitä<3

I got good news in the morning, my Disney Store box had arrived! There I had my two Animator's Collection dolls, Ariel and Rapunzel and Talking Doll Merida 17". Merida is SO cute, she is the same size with my MSD dolls, although looks nothing like them :D The hair of the little girls is so soft and sweet that I just want to cuddle them all the time <3

Wopee! Tein tänään tilauksen Disney Storeen ja sieltä onkin nyt sitten tulossa Animators Collection Ariel ja T'ähkäpää. Lisäksi oli ihan pakko tilata vielä yksi uutuu, elikkä Brave elokuvan Merida nukke joka on 40cm pitkä ja se puhuu XD Tilaaminen oli uskomattoman helppoa ja se onnistui ihan Visa electronilla, ei olisi uskonut. Olen niin tottunut hankaliin Pay-Pal juttuihin ja tilisiirtoihin, tällä kertaa vain numerosarjan naputtelu, pankin vahvistus ja that's it! Nyt vain odottelen, että kuinka kauan kestää paketin tulo. Disneyn sivuilla sanotaan, että suomeen kestää max. 7pv. Odottelen siis innolla :P Vielä pitäisi tilata Doll Leavesilta Vivian. Sitten onkin taas hetkeksi aikaa kaikki kasassa.
(EDIT: Taisinpa tässä ostaa päräyttää saman tien sen Vivianin :S)

Today I ordered from Disney Store (UK) Animators Collection Ariel and Rapunzel :D I also just HAD to get the newes MErida doll which is 40cm tall and she talks. I'm very interested in hearing what she has to say... Ordering these from the shop internationally was incredibly easy and I was able to do it just by Visa Electron. I'm so used to the difficulties with Pay-Pal and bank transfers that this was a real treat. I will definately be ordering from there again! So now I just wait for the dollies to come... And meanwhile I have time to place an order in for Doll Leaves Vivian. After that I should be happy for a while (or so you'd think) :)

Disney Animator's collection princesses (as toddlers).

Selailin sitten nettiä ja törmäsin tällaiseen ihanaan nuksuttimeen.
I was just browsing throught the internet and found something as cute as this.

Pieni merenneito Arielhan se siinä pikkuisena. Näitähän on ollut useampiakin nähtävissä mutta tämä on jotenkin niin suloinen, että sulatti saman tien sydämeni... Kaikista 10 prinsessasta on siis tehtyä tällainen söpis versio jonka on suunitellut samat tyypit jotka ovat suunitelleen aikuiset prinsessat elokuviin, elikkä aito näkemys siitä, millaisia prinsessat lapsena olisivat. Suomesta näitä ei saa, eikä ulkomailtakaan muualta kuin Disney Storesta. ONNEKSI he shippaavat myös kansainvälisesti ja toivonkin, että tällainen pullukka pian olisi tänne kotiutumassa :D

It's Little Mermaid Ariel as a toddler! There have been many toddler lookalikes out in the market but this one is somehow so cute that it caught my attention right away. All 10m princesses have been made into these cuties and they have been designed by the same people that have made the princesses in the movies, so a real peek of what the princesses would have looked like :D You can only get these from Disney Store, and I am SO happy they ship also internationally... I'm h oping of getting one here soon :D
