Medieval swap

Keskiaika swapin tarjontaa. Olin onnekas, ja sain ensimmäisenä paketin kotiin :D Asusta tulee ihan tämä biisi mieleen
Ylvis- What does the fox say

Huoh.

My parcel from the medieval swap. I'm in love with it! And I can't stop thinking about the Fox song I linked ubove :D

also I noticed that Imageshack has changed so I need to find another page to use. There is no way I'll ever figure out how the new version works.

My first Swap present from DoA

Tänään saapui ensimmäinen Swap-paketti suoraan USA:sta :D Aivan ihanan mekon parini olikin tehnyt Emmalle. Todella suloinen setti. Etenkin tuo pieni hattu on niin kaunis <3

Today I gor my first Swap package straight from USA. My partner had made an absolutely adorable outfit for my girl! I wanted something bright and happy, colourful and circuslike and I really got it. I love the outfit and so does Emma! It included stockings, arm warmers, tubetop (under the dress), dress and a lovely crocheted hair piece. I really love the outfit! And especially the hairpiece <3

Need to get a new doll!

I  have finally been able to save up for a Resinsoul Mei. At the same time I am going to order a body for Angerva, she's been without one for long enough now. I did consider for a fleeding moment that I would use the money for some other doll, but I have wanted Mei for a loong time and from Resinsoul I also get the body for the same prize I would pay for some other company for only one doll. I have been thinking about the face-up and style that she will get now only thing missing is a name. I want a Finnish name that means something, preferebly something to do with nature and snow :D But I'm sure I will figure it out the at least when I get her in my hands with a face-up and her hair. I am thinking of blue mohair and blue eyes without pupils. She will be my first fairy/elf :P

Emerentia

My dollies.

Uusi nukkekatras-kuva jossa näkyy nyt oikeastaan ihan kaikki nukkeni, Disneyt, BJD:t ja monsterit sun muut :P

A new picture of all my dolls, and now they should all be included this time...

Holiday wishes!

Happy Holidays from me and my girls :) I participated in a Christmas calendar on the Hartsilapset forum and decided to put pictures from the same shoot here as well :)

My doll collection!

Ihan pakko laittaa kuvaa koko  minun nukkekatraasta. Tästä puuttuu kaksi Disney Animators Collection nukkea, mutta ne eivät mahdu tuohon hyllylle vaan majailevat muualla. Muutoin tässä on kaikki Moxiet, Monster High nuket, BJD:t, Pullip, Lalaloopsy, Merida ja joitain pehmoleluja ihan vain, jottei nukeille tule tylsää :D

I just had to put here a picture of all my dollies. The only ones missing are my Disney Animators Colletion girls, they are too big to fit my shelf. So here they are, all my Moxies, Monster High, BJDs, Pullip, Lalaloopsy, Merida and some stuffed toys :)

Upstairs from left: Merida, MoxieGirlz, Lalaloopsy in the front LaTi Yellow Miel BJD.
Downstairs from left: BJDs; Luts KDF Darae, Doll Leaves V, Dollzone Yan, Monster high (Abbey & Frankie), Pullip and Dollzone Reiko BJD.

Halloween outfits for my girls!

Tänään piti mennä Helsinkiin Halloween miittiin, mutta onnistuin saattamaan itseni sen verran huonoon kuntoon, ettei matkaaminen onnistunut. Tein kuitenkin hikihatussa eilen mekkosia tytöilleni joten tässä niistä kuvia. Fanni (DZ Reiko) on olevinaan vampyyri ja Emma (DL V-) on noita hieman erikoisen noitahattunsa kera :)

Today I was supposed to go to a Halloween dolly-meet but unfortunately me becoming ill killed that idea. But I did manage to get my dresses ready. Fanni (DZ Reiko) is supposed to be a vampire and Emma (DL V-) is a witch with an un traditional witches hat :D

Emerentia (Doll Leaves Vivian)

Pitihän sitä viedä uusi neitokainen ulos vähän kuvailua varten. Tytön nimi on muuten Emerentia, Emma tutuille :) Uusi kamera pitäisi hankkia tämä nykyinen kun ei oikein vastaa odotuksiani, tarkentaa minne sattuu jne.

I just had to take my new girl outside for a small photoshoot. Her name is Emerentia, Emma to her friends. I should also get a new camera since the current one isn't quite what I need it to be.

Doll Leaves Vivian, box opening.

Doll Leavesin Vivian tulikin paljon odotettua aikaisemmin, eli tilaus tehtiin perjantaina ja torstaina tyttöolikin jo kolkuttelemassa ovella. Tästä kyllä plussaa Think Pinkille. Vaikka kyseessä olikin in stock ostos, saapui se silti nopeasti kun meni alle viikko. Pakko laittaa paketin avauskuvia myös tänne blogin puolelle. Ja kyllä sillä on sitten kaunis face-up ja kauniit kasvot <3

Doll Leaves Vivian came a lot earlier then I expected! I ordered her from Think Pink on Friday and Thursday she wes knocking at my door. My regards to Think Pink, I think they did really good on this one. I have to put some box opening pictures of her here as well. She has such a beautiful face and face-up <3

Dreaming of Doll Leaves V- (Vivian)

I have been watching the dolls from Doll Leaves and I really want also V-(Vivian) doll from there. I love her face-up so much!!! And her face is so cute as well. Also Vivian is available from an European agent in stock so it wouldn't take months to get her. Now I just need to get my Dreaming Doll sold in order to buy Vivian...

Dreaming of a new doll!

Uutta nukkea pukkaa... Nyt olisi aikomuksissa hankkia Doll Leavesin ihanainen uusi MSD tyttönen A- (Amara). Tuo Doll Leaveshan sijaitsee kiinassa joten nukke on taasen hivenen edullisempi kuin monesta muusta firmasta tilatessa, sen verran edullinen, että taidan ensimmäistä kertaa ottaa ihan defaul face-upilla tämän neitokaisen. Mielestäni Doll Leavesin meikit ovat ihan omaa luokkaansa, aivan ihania ja hivenen jopa groteskeja jollain tavalla. Tämä onkin sitten oiva syntymäpäivä/ joululahja itselleni.

So... I am thinking of getting yet another doll, this time from Doll Leaves. They have a new (and super cute) MSD girl A- (Amara). Since Doll Leaves is situated at China it means that the dolls are a bit more affordable then in many other places. This time I think I will also take her with company face-up. I love Doll Leaves face-ups, they are beautiful, different and somewhat grotesque in their own way :) She will be a perfect birthday/ christmas present for myself.

Doll leaves

Olen nähnyt paljon kuvia näistä nimenomaisista nuksuista ja lueskellut paljon omistajien itsensä kertomia arvosteluita kropasta jne. Mitä ilmeisemmin Doll Leavesilla on sama kuin Dollzonella, yllättävän hyvä laatu hintaan suhteutettuna.
Asiasta tietämättömille siis Dollzonen basic MSD nukke maksaa n. 240$.

I have seen loads of pictures from Doll Leaves dolls and I have been reading a lot from owners on how the body works and about the general quality of DL. Apparently DL is about the same with Dollzone, good quality when considering the prices.
To those yet unaware of the prices of these dolls here is some info; Dollzone basic MSD doll will cost about 240$. You get the doll nude, only with eyes. From Doll Leaves you get an MSD doll for 159$ nude, with eyes. And for comparison, one of the most popular BJD shops; Fairyland offers their version of MSD (called Minifee) for 397$ nude. To this amount you have to add more if you want a wig, clothes, shoes etc. For your doll. Then you need to add also the postages from China, custom fees and 23€ of Alv. (this varies in different countries, these are the prices here in Finland).

Usually people tell the new comers to always think about the doll they want and rather to use more money for the doll you really feel that you need then to buy something similar with lower prices. Well I'm one of those who would rather search for alternative for the expensive doll, since almost always you can find it if you just have the time to search for it. But I guess I'm just lucky since Dollzone is my ultimate favourite of all the doll companies, not because of it's prices but because of the good quality and beautiful dolls.

Tässä vielä kuva pelkästä nude kropasta Dollzonelta
